Announcement on the 2nd Recruitment of Foreign Technology (Preparatory) Start-up Entrepreneurs

유망한 아이템을 보유한 외국인 (예비)창업자를 발굴하여 성공적인 창업 활동을 지원하기 위한 2016년도 『본글로벌 액셀러레이터 활성화 사업』의 외국인 기술창업지원 프로그램 (예비)창업자 2차 모집을 다음과 같이 공고합니다.

This public announcement of the 2016 『Born Global Accelerator Program』is being made to 2nd recruit and support foreign technology (preparatory) start-up entrepreneurs who have promising business items.

■ 사업목적 (Purpose)

? 우수한 아이템을 보유한 외국인 (예비)창업자를 발굴하여 사업화자금, 창업공간, 창업교육, 전문가 멘토링 등의 국내 창업활동 지원을 통해 고용 창출에 기여

? The purpose of this program is to find and support foreign (prep) start-up entrepreneurs having excellent business items, providing them with commercialization fund, office, mentoring, start-up education, and various supporting program.

■ 지원규모 (Number of Winning Teams) 

? 13개팀 내외 ( About 13 Teams)

■ 신청자격 (Eligibility for Support)

? 학사학위 이상 취득한 ①외국인 또는 ②재외동포* 또는 ③귀환 유학생** 중 예비창업자 또는 3년 미만 창업기업 대표자

? Among ①Foreigners, ②Overseas Koreans*, and ③Homecoming Students*, that are holding a bachelor’s degree or higher, who are preparatory start-up Entrepreneurs or representatives of a startup business established in the last three years

■ 지원 내용 (Support)

1. 창업사업화자금 지원 (Government Subsidy)

- 창업기업 당 ‘제조 분야 최대 5천만원’ 이내, ‘지식서비스분야 최대 3천만원’ 이내 창업사업화 자금 지원

- Commercialized subsidy will be paid to each startup team(Manufacturing: up to KRW 50 million, Information service: up to KRW 30 million)

2. 창업교육, 멘토링 및 특화프로그램 지원 (Startup Education, mentoring and specialized program for startup)

3. 사무 공간, 기자재 등 인프라 지원 (Infrastructure)

-Strat-up can choose office space between Korean Techno-Venture Foundation* and TIPS Town** if they want to move in
